We take your existing T56 or TR-6060 transmission and rebuild it with numerous upgrades to solve common shortfalls of the OEM transmission. These are carefully selected to improve the reliability and shifting performance of your T56/TR-6060 as well as beef it up to handle higher power levels.
Level 1 Rebuild
The Level 1 rebuild is perfect for the budget-conscious enthusiast who has not made any major engine upgrades. With a level 1 transmission rebuild we do a complete tear-down, degrease, and thorough inspection of the entire transmission. We will call you and let you know of any issues we found outside the standard level rebuild before proceeding.
Level 2 Rebuild
The Level 2 rebuild is appropriate if you’ve made some decent improvements to your engine. It includes everything in the Level 1 rebuild, plus cryogenic treatment of all transmission internals. The process of cooling the metal below -300ºF rearranges its atomic structure, making it not only stronger but also more resistant to wear and tear. If longevity is particularly important to you, it may be worth considering the Level 2 rebuild even if your torque levels are low enough that Level 1 would handle them.
Magnum Conversions
For maximum reliability and higher power handling capabilities, it makes more sense to replace your transmission with an upgraded model than to rebuild your current one. Check out our Magnum Conversions
