This will be dependent on several factors such as power, weight, how the vehicle is used, rear end gear ratio, etc. The GM T56 Magnum transmission is offered in the following ratios:
2.66 - 1.78 - 1.30 - 1.00 - .80 - .63
2.97 - 2.10 - 1.46 - 1.00 - .80 - .63

Option Guide: Which bellhousing do I need?
We offer a variety of bellhousings depending upon your budget and power level. The McLeod or Tremec unit is ideal for lower horsepower street applications where as the Quicktime units are ideal for higher horsepower applications. The RM-8019 doesn't carry an SFI rating like the RM-8020 but it is still a spun steel bellhousing. The RM-8019 is recommended for applications that need the absolute most clearance possible around the bellhousing area.

This will be dependent on several factors such as power, weight, how the vehicle is used, drivability concerns, etc. We offer options from mild street single disc to race oriented twin disc. Option Guide: Which shifter do I need?
The T56 Magnum comes standard with a Tremec shifter. You do have the option to upgrade to our Billet Short-Throw Shifter or Billet Mid Shift Kit which offers a 15% reduction in throw and has an integrated O-Ring seal so no gasket or RTV is needed.
