Tick Performance welcomes new salesman, Zach Adams, who like the rest of the staff is a true gearhead. He daily-drives a ’06 GMC Sierra 1500 he built with his wife in their home garage.

A budget-built sleeper Zach’s Sierra features exhaust piping he robbed from farm tractor, a 4L80E from an ambulance, a torque converter from a church bus, and an eBay turbo. “A somewhat reliable tire-frying daily-driver was the goal,” said Zach. So far, the best 1/4-mile time has been a 12.7 E/T on minimal boost. Zach drives it daily here to Tick Performance. “I started with imports when I was young, then discovered the Gen-II LT1, and the rest was history.”
