This will be dependent on several factors such as power, weight, how the vehicle is used, rear end gear ratio, etc. The GM TKX transmission is offered in the following ratios:
2.87 - 1.89 - 1.28 - 1.00 - .68
2.87 - 1.89 - 1.28 - 1.00 - .81
3.27 - 1.98 - 1.34 - 1.00 - .72
Option Guide: Which bellhousing do I need?
The Lakewood Bellhousing Kit is a cast aluminum bellhousing which is ideal for lower power street applications. If you however are pushing the limits of you setup then a Quicktime SFI Bellhousing is never a bad idea. Whichever option you go with they both include all necessary install hardware and will accept a clutch fork or hydraulic throw-out bearing.

This will be dependent on several factors such as power, weight, how the vehicle is used, drivability concerns, etc. We offer options from mild street single disc to race oriented twin disc. If you aren't sure what option is best for you our knowledgeable sales staff will be more than happy to help!
Option Guide: Which shifter do I need?
The TKX comes standard with a Tremec shifter. You do have the option to upgrade to our Billet Short-Throw Shifter which offers a 15% reduction in throw and has an integrated O-Ring seal so no gasket or RTV is needed.
