The all new GForce Engineering Renegade Axles are a direct replacement for factory half-shafts and are designed for cars with everything from mild bolt-ons to those running superchargers and turbos. The Renegade axles are leap above entry level axles.

- All 5g Camaro axles are designed to work with a factory 32 spline differential and 33 spline wheel hub. SS and ZL1 are the same spline counts but are NOT interchangeable!
- All 5g Camaro platforms have a less than ideal axle angle from the factory. While our CV’s are considered a wear item, it is worth noting that CV assemblies and boots will see accelerated wear or possibly binding and clearance issues with lowered cars, so we strongly suggest to avoid lowering these cars.
- Our average 5g SS/ZL1 customer is around 750-800hp, with some as high as 1100hp. Important to note that any axle can fail at a lower power level due to wheel hop or misuse. The listed numbers should not be an expectation, but an idea for capability.
- Many customers will see a decrease in reliability with the factory SS differential around 800hp (ZL1 differential offering a little more strength). Some have certainly failed at considerably lower power levels, but also worth noting that if you plan to run competitively or at a considerably higher power level than you might consider an upgrade such as our 9” conversion.
Renegade axles also include 1-piece CNC machined billet steel inner and outer stubs. Machined from a single piece of billet steel, GForce inner and outer 1-piece stubs are the strongest stub design period.
In addition to increased strength the Renegade axles feature anti-wheel hop technology. Originally brought to market by GM several years ago, all GForce axles feature this same technology and offer a significant reduction in wheel hop during hard launches.
Each component of a Renegade axle is meticulously designed, machined and assembled by GForce in our Kansas based facility. Because we carefully control each process, hand-build each axle assembly and only use premium materials, GForce axles boast an unrivaled warranty.
