When used in generation 2 LT1/LT4 engines you must use an electric water pump. This timing set does not have provision to work with early spline drive Opti-spark distributors. OBDII (1996-97) Engines will require the crank sensor reluctor to be removed for this timing set to 'fit' which will require tuning to delete associated codes however this will not affect how your LT engine runs. If you wish to keep the factory crank reluctor funtional for misfire counts and no required tuning you should choose a single roller chain.
